Times Union, Hello, I’m Hannah and I own a 6 year old chinchilla named Gus. Unfortunately I am relocating at the end of the month and cannot bring him with me so I'm looking to find him a new home. He is shy but never aggressive; he has never bitten anyone or caused any trouble for me. He’s also extremely healthy and has never had medical issues. Once he warms up to you he will be a lot more adventurous. He loves his chew toys and dust baths. He’s been such a great pet all these years and I hate that I have to part with him but I want him to have the best life possible. Gus is also good around other animals and has never been afraid of my two labs. I am located about 1 hour from Albany in Saugerties. I can also give you his cage which is about 24 inches wide and 24 inches high. I am not asking for any monetary payment, just that you be willing to meet me and come pick him up.
